I need help fast before I loose my home due to unpaid taxes that need to be payed yesterday. I lost everything in hurricane katrina, now I h ave my home and need 400 dollars to pay. I am disabled so i cannot work.can someone find me some resources please. Help!,!!!
Help! I need help on bills. I've been disabled for some time now (I had a stroke). I have a couple of bills that have gone into collections, and I was talking to a collector recently who mentioned these resources. If it's possible I would like to get these bills paid off. There are a couple that are $2000 and not being able to work to pay these off has become a problem. I don't make enough with disability to make payment arrangements in order to pay these off. I'm considered permanently disabled. I want to work, but because of the tremor I have in my left hand and very limited use of it, I'm not able.
I was working on a farm and the boss that thinks she knows how to run a farm well she fired me for no reason what so ever if there is anything that you can do for me and my finance who is disabled with a service dog find a place to live we are in desperate need of a place to live so please help and god bless you

i am a single mother of a 13 and 8 year old. we are looking for a place to start over. i moved to virginia to help my younger sister with her first child so she could finish school and stayed for 8 months. my grandmother has cancer and it started to get the best of her so after 9 months of helping my sister i decided to move back to california and help my mom with my grandmother. her house is very small so we have been living with friends for the past 2 months, before that we were at a hotel. so much has happened in the short time of me being back i dont know where to begin, but i do know I AM TIRED... i jus need someone to give us a chance. p.s. i have section 8!

Hello I'm new here and couldn't help noticing the same thing as you with people asking for money. Words can't describe how true your words were about thinking out of the box, and that there's more than one way to solve your problems. I wish you the best and hope your doing well.
in response to shotcaller69...You aren't going to want to hear this but the truth of the matter is that there are few grant that are for personal uses.You have to get a non profit to help you .and that takes a long time both to write it up and to get it. Aidpage has a sister site that has two programs that help you if you still choose to try first one is foundations; www.grantgate.com and the other you can tell from the title: www.thefederalmoneyretriever.com. Both are free , it helps guide you and tells you what you need to know.

First, stop getting pregnant. You can't take care of someone else's life until you can your own. Secondly, you have been clean for less than a year; you can't expect change to happen so soon. One day at a time, one decision at a time, things will start to change but YOU have got to work at it everyday.
Try to find two jobs. Stay busy and save some money. Earn back the trust people have lost in you all those times you let them down and they will forget. LOVE YOURSELF. (Subscribe to a parenting magazine and call your local child services agency and ask about free parenting classes. The YWCA in your area might help as well.)

I'm sorry things have gone so badly for you. There's a lot of info on this site. I can't help anyone finacially, barely keep my own head above water. Trying to find a home of my own. Currently staying with friends but don't want to over stay my welcome. It took me about 1 1/2 yrs b4 I got on SS disability. I know some who got on in a couple of months and others who it took years. Hang in there. Always file an appeal immediately if they turn u down. You should be egible for foodstamps and a state medical card while you're waiting for the disability process. in response to CnsmrRep...It very nice to meet you, I am the President, founder, and owner of Misty Creek, in Missouri, I am a new based non-profit center, that has not yet established the 501c3 but am working towards it. I am also being registered with the state of Missouri. I rescue thoroughbred horses, and with this horses I am starting an equine therapy center for all children with disabilities, I am also giving therapy to these children absolutely free of charge, never to be asked for cash or insurance, I too am looking for funds to help put up a barn to accommodate this therapy, different fencing, a meeting room, and a handicapped playground.
